What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is intense physical pain from a bad illness. I know it may sound selfish, but it is the truth.

What about you?

8. My biggest fear has come to pass.
A stupid, incompetent moral cripple sits in the White House.

I used to torment my other geek friends (who universally hate Jar-Jar Binks) by making up stories about "Darth Jar-Jar." Little did I know that we'd get something very similar running the country.

14. Losing my sanity, whish is odd given I'm very unlikely to lose it now
fought long and hard for it... place I lived in didn't tolerate that stuff at the time, so I solved it on my own... I cannot continue without bieng immodest but I will mention I now have an effective 28 part system I use to filter out all delusions, hallucinations, paranoia (just the schitzophrenic bit not the more normal paranoia everyone gets). That doesn't even include the various ways of fighting all the others. For what is wrong with me/why I have to fight so many symptoms, see here:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=4867278

Personally, the most technically difficult to fight is invented memory (It's almost impossible to distinguish it from real -this is a form of shitzophrenia), but overall, depression, because it saps your will to fight it.

19. Losing an eye in a painful way.
I can not stand anything near my face. Getting an eye exam is a major panic inducing ordeal for me. I have to pop an anti-anxiety pill first. I do not like anything near my face.

I know, I sound absolutely crazy. I have always been like that. I wear glasses, so once a year, I have to go through the appointment.

But after it's over, I pick out a real cute, sassy pair of glasses and reward myself with a Jamba Juice! :)

27. Losing my husband and/or daughter
Especially losing my daughter. The worst form of hell would be if someone hurt her. I know my limitations and I wouldn't be able to survive that. I might survive losing her in an accident like a car crash, especially if it happened quickly. But if someone was responsible for causing her pain and death, the hate and blinding rage would crush me.

35. Heh heh.
I always liked that line, especially because I had a run-in with a tough carnie girl. I was a sheltered little suburban kid (probably about 13) and the carnie wouldn't my friends and me off a ride because she thought one of us had dissed her. She even hit the friend in question (who had not tried to dis the carnie, by the way). Verrrrrry scary ... :scared:

32. well 3 things
Edited on Tue Mar-21-06 12:12 PM by Puglover
1. dying. (I like being alive)
2. being buried alive. (pretty unlikely)
3. being eaten by a shark (great white preferably)

Since #'s 2 and 3 probably won't happen I can safely bank on the fact that # 1 will be the one that gets me in the end.

but the thing that freaks me out just to think about is this scenario:

Encapsuled in an air tight steel container, unable to move, thrown into the ocean. Yes, I know, I'm creative this way. Can you commit quick suicide just through mind power?
