5. Getting out of debt
and paying off credit cards. I am working so hard to put them behind me forever. I can't wait for the day I get the zero balance statement. I got sick and tired of all the BS involved with them and never want to use them again. Hopefully sometime this summer (July is my goal) they will be completely paid off.

Next goal is to sock away as much money as possible so I have an emergency fund so I will never need to use the cards again!

36. To go to college.
I was discouraged from taking college prep courses in high school because I cut school a lot and was told they had to save room in those classes for students with a future.

Nice, huh?

Maybe I wouldn't have cut school if I had some interesting classes.

(Or if I weren't a survivor of childhood sexual abuse working out my feelings with drugs and older men.)

Anyhoo!

I had won a lot of writing awards and did really well on my ACTs so I decided to apply to this small, elite, liberal arts school that heavily recruited students who could win writing awards.

It was the only college I applied to and it saved my life.

47. Smart, aren't we?
I'm too set in my ways to want to settle down with anyone else. And I've been that way since I was born. :)

As for kids, I could listen to parrots scream all day long. 10 seconds of a baby/kid screaming has me running for the hills. NO patience for them at all. I have so much respect for people who have kids. But kids are lucky I decided to stay kid free. LOL.

40. Having my daughter...
I was only 22 and I really wasn't sure, but she is the most amazing person I have ever met, and I couldn't imagine my life without her.

Other good ones include:

Marrying my husband--an incredible, loving man.
Becoming vegan--I am healthy and happy and livin' it up!
Quitting smoking--still technically a work in progress, but smoke free for 11 days and going strong!
