Did you ever like someone's posts, put them on your buddy list, and then,
over time, their posts seem increasingly trollish to you?

Eh, I'm an old crusty curmudgeon who's been reading this board too long.

1. Sometimes bad days go on for weeks.
It's easy to get frustrated with the real world and take it out on the nameless, faceless masses that make up internet posting boards.

And when frustrated with the real world, it's easy to get trollish... because one wants everyone else to go away, shut up and leave one the hell alone!!

But yeah, I know the feeling. Have had it and felt like I've been doing it from time to time, and that's when I know I need a DU break and must go kill orcs and hobgoblins to regain my sense of equanimity. Masking certain faces onto certain monsters in my favorite game helps a LOT when I get snarly.

(And I'm so disgustingly liberal I even feel sorry for freepers sometimes....)
