There arent many left in the US any more. Boston has one called "Southie". I'm not sure if NYC still has one.
My oldhometown of Lawrence MA had its Irish section in South Lawrence for over 100 years. Now its all "Spanish'.

Does your town have one? What do they call it?

1. The South Side, only kidding...
There are Irish born and Irish Americans in practically every area of Chicago. Greatest concentrations though would be Beverly-Morgan Park and Mt. Greenwood on the South Side and the southwest suburbs of Oak Lawn, Palos and Orland Park.

I'm a born and raised South Sider and I'm not too familiar with the North Side of the city but I know there's quite of few Irish on the North Side as well...

11. It used to a long time ago. We had an Italian section too.
All the good Italian restaurants are still located there. Now everyone is spread out.
