1. For the "clueless" about "internet radio," how do I use this?
Edited on Thu Dec-04-03 03:14 PM by KoKo01
I went to your link, and didn't understand what it was about. I hit "listen" and was told to unblock my "pop up buster." Okay I can do that for this site on Netscape 7.1 (I think I can, anyway) but what kind of "pop ups" will I get?

Does your sit play on my "Real Audio Plug-in?" Is that where I'm supposed to "bookmark your site as a preset?" Or, does internet radio have it's own player that I have to pay to download? Do I have to pay to listen or just accept the "pop ups."

It sounds good, but you have to walk me through this here, because I'm really clueless about this. I've listened to BBC Radio Music because I can hear what I want to, but not used Napster or any of that other stuff, so I have no idea what it's about.

Thanks, if you can help.

2. It's free and easy
You need to allow pop-ups because the broadcast window will open in a new pop-up window. You will see a button to click to start the station streaming. It should play through whatever your default audio program is. You don't have to pay unless you want the premium, commercial free programming.

Bookmarking the site as a preset only marks the particular station on the 365 page so you can get back to it easily.

3. I love Live365
I'm guessing from your title that you have a soul station.

I run two stations, one playing classic 70s punk rock (Clash, Ramones, Dead Boys, etc.) and the other on which I play whatever I feel like. I also use 365 to host my web site.

I hope you have as much fun with it as I do!

4. Wow. looks pretty cool.
Unfortunately, Live365 doesn't seem to work through Norton Antivirus, so I can't listen at work. I'll check it out at home.

5. I am listening to your station right now
Old school soul (especially otis redding and Stax stuff) along with old blues and 60's rock-blues are my favorite kinds of music.
I am jammin out. This is cool

8. By the way, I'm still building the station's music library

Out of 300 MB of space, I've only used up about 20 so far. By the time I finish uploading tunes, though, Soul Express Radio should have upwards of 600 songs on its playlist at any given time. So I hope you log on and like what you hear!
