I'm jealous, please advise.

I'm jealous of my co-worker.

He's smarter than me, more talented, a harder worker, better looking, has more sex, farther along in his career, younger and gets along with everyone.

Every time I hear his name I get pangs of jealousy! Why am I such a schmuck?

Jealousy is a very common emotion. You shouldn't feel ashamed for being jealous of someone who appears to have it all.

Everyone has a story of all the crap going on in their life. He probably has to put up with stuff that you don't have to put up with. Besides, you're probably not owning up to your own talents!

That's my advice and what I do to people who have qualities that I admire. I only get jealous if someone is getting good things that they don't deserve as in the more incompetent, lazier coworker got a promotion and I didn't.
