Project Miserable Failure

I haven't seen this on DU yet, there is a grass roots campaign going to associate the words "miserable failure" with non other than George "miserbale failure" Bush, the former Governor of Texas and current US Despot. It works by linking to GWB*'s bio on the White House Web Site using the words "miserable failure": Miserable Failure

Search engines like Google see lots of links to a page so it thinks the page is useful and if most of the links contain the words "miserable failure" it associates that phrase with the site, even though "miserable failure" doesn't (surprisingly) appear on the page.

the project is working. Google "miserable failure" and guess what the #1 site is?

We have to give a much-needed credit to Old Fashioned Patriot for the miserable failure project. This is the guy who launched the Google click-thru on the words "miserable failure" which leads to this miserable failure page - thereby making that page the number one ranking thanks to all the miserable failure links.

Mission Almost Accomplished
Thanks to Matt Lavine I noticed the Miserable Failure project has put the Miserable Failure at #2 on google. Wow. A huge thanks to Media Whores Online (I got more hits in one hour from him than all the months prior to his link, hurry back, horse) TalkLeft was a close second and their readers seemed to partake in this project at a high rate. With the links from these two it was raining cats and dogs. Luckily, they didn't mess up the furniture.
