A TEST OF YOUR MORALITY AND ETHICS
Subject: A TEST OF YOUR MORALITY AND ETHICS
With all your honour and dignity - what would you do? This test
only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it serious consideration. By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, but yet spontaneous.
You're in Florida, in Miami, to be exact.
There is a huge chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane
and all the flooding. There is a mass of water all over you. You are a CNN photographer, and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot very impressive shots.
There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water. Nature is showing all its destructive power, and it is ripping everything away with it.
Suddenly you see a man, steering a big van.
He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by a wall of water and mud.

You move closer.
Somehow the man looks familiar and important.
Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W Bush!
At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever.

You have two options. You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life.
So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a prize winning photo.

It will be a photo displaying the death of a very powerful man.

And here's the question: (Please give an honest answer)

Will you make the photo black and white, or colour?

"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."
George Orwell

3. LOL
Black and White. It's more dramatic that way. Thanks I needed a good laugh. :)

Seriously though, I wouldn't take the photo, I'd save his life. He has to stand trial at the Hague some day.

6. OH MY I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING
I read it twice and missed the punchline the first-time--so it even had more punch when I did get it. I love it. Thanks. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA

7. Black and White.
It's more dramatic, easier to catch "the moment" with monochrome.

12. welcome to DU, Sir_Shrek
:toast:

I don't know when the joke started, I just laughed my butt off when I got it in an e-mail today.
There certainly is enough revisionist humor going around these days. My right-wing cousin sent me an e-mail with funny, but true quotes from celebs. Her circle of friend attribited many well-known Bushisms ("I know how hard it is to put food an your family")to Clinton and Gore.
Guess we like the jokes, but not at the expense of "our guy."

15. I must be as dumb as a box of rocks
I don't get it. What's the punchline? Is this a CNN still photographer? Does the camerman have two cameras, one loaded with B&W film, the other color? If he only has one camera there wouldn't be enough time to switch out the film from color to B&W before the Bush van was swept away.
