I got a big, fat job offer
wheeee!!!!!!!!

Okay, so what do you do when they give you a great job offer that you've been dying to get? Do you still ask for more or do you just grab it, kiss it, and say thanks?

1. If it's in line with what you is reasonable then
jump at it, celebrate, and enjoy!

Congratulations!

2. If you think asking for more would put the job at risk, then
just take the job. You can always ask for more money down the road and they are unlikely to fire you for asking for a raise.

5. Good thinking
I just don't want to undervalue myself. But it's what I wanted so I can't complain one little bit.

9. Congratulations! Take the money and the job.
That must be a good feeling to get a job you really want and at decent dollars.

Be careful about asking for more - they just might see that as greedy and back off the offer.

Be happy to have a job that's fun and that pays well. It's a lot better than a great job at low pay.

:applause:

12. IF the job will require you to do ANY negotiating for the co., Yes:
Ask for more, money, vacation, whatever...and let them know if they balk or flat out refuse that you're actually thrilled with the offer but in light of the job requirements you knew they'd expect you to negotiate...
