5. That was a surprise!

And the sweetest thing I have heard all week. I've had a rough week...I may soon not have a gainful income and my spirits are in the dumps a bit...you sent me the note and I was just getting ready to respond when the phone rang (about an hour ago) I closed the window and the next thing I saw was this thread with all the sweet responses. Great to see and hear when one is in the dumps.

Thanks so much Crew and everyone else MM, woof, and ALG and of course my all time picker upper CHUCKIEMUTT (hard to be in the dumps when those eyes are staring at you!)

I really appreciate it today...really....to the point of tears I appreciate it.

Crew...you will always be my first DU friend and the person who made me feel welcome when I came.

I'm not worried about your ability for finding gainful income, remember when one door closes another one opens to all kinds of possibilities and you are a very talented intelligent woman and I have all the confidence in YOU!

So please cheer up and don't be down, you're loved more then you know. It's the friends here that keep us going and our friendships' make us strong.

Thank you for your kind words Teena,my health as been a battle but as I told you my Hashimotos' Disease will dictate what I can do and what I have to take in medication to make my life comfortable and I have accepted that, even the darn weight that goes with it. Just to be here so I don't miss out on my son growing up and sharing the joys of my friends who have supported me.

No, not the yaks, although they're high on the list.

It's the fact that people (for the most part) care about each other here. There's a real sense of community.
