I dislike "Liberal smokers who let their kids stay up after 10 p.m."
Our weirdo martian Freeper neighbor lady got an email from a new neighbor, sort of a "get to know you" questionnaire. Weirdo Martian Freeper answered the dislikes as above and sent it off. Trouble is, she's referring to another neighbor ( they all have toddlers) who occasionally has a cig outside and is Mother to three absolutley wonderful little treasures. Of course the new neighbor let the Mom referred to in "dislikes" know about the response.

Gonna be a fun summer.

Frickin' freepers.

3. It's funny--she is Mrs. Cravitz--but she doesn't watch her OWN
toddler. THEN she tries to put the OTHER Mother's kids in "time out". She's quite bizarre.

Was she smoking a joint or something?

8. Yes, how does one smoke "liberally"?
Using only the left hand? Smoking only "fair trade tobacco" cigarettes? Non-greenhouse-gas matches, perhaps?

6. I was a working artist and painted at home and this happened
A women came to my door and told me I could not do that in my home. I was so shocked. I just shut the door in her face. I did not know what to say. What could make people do such things? Pretty soon it will be like Saudi who will not let you bring in a Bible or cross. We will have to have both here. We will have police for what you do in your bed room I guess.

11. Saturday, two jehovahs came by and started talking politics and bible
I questioned them on the "inerrancy" issue, then started peppering them about Syriac, Attic Greek, Council of Trent, Council of Nicea, King James 1, King James 2, King james 2 Rev., etc. They could not answer most of my points.

They started again - Did I think that George Bush was a good president. I gave my standard litany - Iraq, social security, pre-9/11 prep, staffing, domestic spying, torture, renditions, and more.
They surprised me by saying, "We agree. He is evil and should be impeached. Even if you don't believe in our god, he believes in you. and we believe in all honest people getting rid of the president. Will you join us in our goal? "

THEY HAD A PETITION TO START SUPPORTING IMPEACHMENT!

They are coming back this weekend to debate why the 4 gospels were the ones that were chosen out of the 80 or so possibilities.

19. Are you sure they are JW's?
They won't usually have anything to do with anything that glorifies anything but god. That includes politicians and politics. They won't even let their kids go to pep rallies.

Are you sure they weren't Mormons?

7. I dislike
Repugs who get dressed up to go grocery shopping. And on their way back, in their gas guzzling tax break SUV, stop by the Post Office to pop their huge RNC contribution in the mail. :puke:

12. My favorite...is the coordinating velvet track suits...
I'm a stay-at-home mom living in a suburb. I'm certainly not saying that all--or even a majority of SAHMoms are like this--but I do see some interesting creatures who come out during the day time.

There is a contingent of women who do their grocery shopping in expensive velvet track suits. Usually they're sporting matching Nikes as well. They've got perfectly manicured nails and their professionally highlighted hair is pulled back into a clip. Most of their babies have those goofy, bright-colored knit hats on--from the Gap.

I'd say half have monstrous SUVs, with the other half driving pimped out Minivans with televisions and leather seats.

Someone should study this demographic...

I am a natural lint collector and I know that if I wore anything velvety...I would look even more disheveled....

I stick to denim and t-shirts/blouses...

25. We always listened to story tapes on long trips - MUCH better for the
kiddos' imaginations than vegging out watching videos.

Just something to think about (don't mean to sound too soapbox-y). There are some very good storytellers - Jim Weiss is *awesome* and has lots of tapes. Also Jay O'Callahan, Odds Bodkin, Jackie Torrence, Lynn Moroney. Plus lots of good kids' books are on tape - Beverly Cleary, ___ Munsch (Paper Bag Princess), Lynn Reid Banks, etc. (Plus, there are actually kids' music tapes out there that aren't annoying to listen to over and over - we couldn't stand the "Wee Sing" stuff but found lots of quality music that was enjoyable to listen to.) Ahhh, such memories...

26. Kid tapes --
Have you checked out Hank the Cowdog? He is the "Maxwell Smart" of dogs, per the cover of the tapes. They are hilarious. We still call funky meals "aged mutton" years after listening to the story of Hank's adventure among wolves.

when you take an 8-12 hour car ride...counting cars, music and books on tape has its limits.

10. I dislike the conservative breeding machines up the street
who send their children to my house because they are "overwhelmed and tired"....they never even come down to my house and apologize or thank me for watching these brats for hours at a time...

In the past I have taken pity on these kids but their father and mother are Bush voting dipshits.

Let them raise the brood of 5 they brought into this world...they are not spending the summer at my home ever again.

I have my own children to raise and surely they wouldn't want the liberal to be giving their kids ideas...

16. no no no.. Don't waste a valuable opportunity!
You can single-handedly stop this multi-generational tragedy from occurring! Give their kids as many ideas as you can spare. Crank it up a bit... load them down with impeachment paraphernalia and send them out to preach a liberal gospel...
(It'll drive the bushbots nutz.... You might do some good, or at the very least, have those irresponsible parents reclaim their own kids)

18. Oh I do that ...
one day the kids were dumped out of the car after church and started sermonizing me about how all the stuff in my yard was made by GOD...
I told them no..it was Mother Earth...and filled their head with that...they weren't down to my house for weeks....

15. I don't get it. How do you know how she answered this creepy survey?
I think those kind of survey emails are intrusive and nosy in themselves.

But am I correct in deducing you're the "Smoking Mama?" :D

We're pretty sure she's referring to the one with 3 little ones.
I give less than a rip as I find the reep couple weird & sort of creepy, anyway.

The new neighbor who sent the email spilled the beans about the answer.

29. Weirdos. I guess it was a "get to know you" questionnaire
from the internets. Pretty innocuous until one starts tossing bricks at one's neighbors. (IN WRITING!)
