I have not seen any of the Indiana Jones movies
I had a friend, when Raiders came out, who was such a fanatic of that movie, and he totally turned me off to wanting to see it.

1. Last Crusade is my favorite
Sean connery and Harrison Ford are great together. Basically, they are a lot of fun to watch just like Star Wars is, but you don't have to be a huge fanatic.

Did it damage any other part of your computer when it went (sometimes they do) or were you spared that?

9. Thankfully, just the PS
It went crack pop, a puff of smoke came out, and I feared the worst.

8. Raiders had a profound effect on me as a kid
Edited on Mon Mar-06-06 03:20 AM by Charlie Brown
It was actually the first film I ever saw about the NAZIs or about religion, as odd as that sounds. I used to want to be just like Indy, fighting NAZIs and treasure-hunting. It's probably one of the most inspiring adventure movies for film-buffs of all time. Get some friends over and watch it as a group. It's best enjoyed with a crowd.

12. You should definitely see Raiders
And if you want more, then rent The Last Crusade (the one where Connery plays his dad).

I'm not a big of The Temple of Doom. Much darker in tone than Raiders. Plus, after the feisty Karen Allen in the first film, I found Kate Capshaw mostly grating.

Raiders of the Lost Ark was nominated for eight Academy Awards in 1982 and won four (Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Visual Effects, Best Art Direction-Set Decoration).
