WTF are they playing MUSIC for during their acceptance speeches?
:grr:

It's really pissing me off. Not only is it incredibly distracting, but it's incredibly disrespectful, imo.

They get their effing 30 seconds, no matter what.

That's my biggest complaint, so far. Just had to vent.....

1. That's the "shut up and get your ass off the stage" music.
They have to keep things on schedule you know. :eyes:

3. Yeah, I get that, but this is, I think, the first year they've actually
played music DURING their speeches. I've NEVER heard that done before.

It's very disrespectful, imo.

Why can't they keep with what's worked fine in the past?

6. If you go over your time, the music starts...it sucks, but...
Television people like things to end on time; they hate when things run late.

2. You're lucky they didn't get the "Tom Hanks treatment"
That was pretty funny.

7. I like it...
noone has an opportunity to 'forget' they had a time limit...

there's background noise/setting/music ... some form of audio for every other Hollywood production...

oh yeah... Why does Clooney do good things yet still seem like an ass IMHO??
