I just had my foster cat put down
This day has gone from incredibly bad to horrible. I have been struggling with bronchitis for weeks so I feel like crap. To start the day I managed to back the car into the garage door. Don't ask, please. My husband is completely pissed at me. Then I took my foster cat into the veterinarian to find out that she has cancer. She's been in our home for several months and we had decided to keep her or give her to my brother and his wife. Had to make the incredibly painful decision to have her put down. I've dealt with loss before but it's still so painful. So now I have red eyes from crying hysterically and I'm coughing my lungs up. I have to leave in twenty minutes to go meet with all of my 7th grade son's teachers, his counselor and the school psychologist. We are having him son tested for learning disabilities, etc. Should be a fun meeting given my current state of mind.

THIS DAY SUCKS!!!

3. I'm verry sorry.
euthanizing an animal is a terrible, painful thing to have to do. :(

But the fact that you're upset means you loved the wee critter. That love will last longer than the grief.

4. I'm so sorry :(
Here's a big  for you.

My condolences on the kitty.

Get the kid stuff out of the way, then confine yourself ot bed rest for a while, you deserve.

Worry about the garage door later, your husband can just cool his jets until you feel better or go stay at a hotel :P

And, here's my ubiquitous cheer-up duck that I always post to make people smile because she's so darn cute and it looks like she's happy as all hell:

Can you reschedule your meeting? If so, I would've advised you to not go and meet them today if you don't absolutely have to. Meet them next week, maybe.

Except that it's been almost an hour since you posted this, and I'm assuming you've already left.

My condolences on your kitty.

8. Aww...

We lost a fourteen year old Siamese to intestinal cancer, I cried the entire day after we had her put down. I've run the entire race on schools and meetings, my oldest child has a multitude of problems, so I know your pain there too.

Things will get better, hang in there.

9. This day really sucked,
I have to agree. Tomorrow is another day, though.

Safe passage for your cat, and comfort to you. I'll send good vibes and thoughts, if this count.
