Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 03:03 PM by XemaSab
I'm interested in the average number of cats people here own.

2. Just one.
The queen of the manor. Well, I guess it would be the princess of the manor in this case, since there can only be one queen...

13. We have none.......
Somedays I'm happy about that, and somedays I'm not.....

My husband said that once we moved into our new home, he didn't want to have animals any more....

His reasoning was that it would be easier to travel...

So whenever I want to travel, and he doesn't....well, you know where I go with that!

14. Shouldn't the poll question be: How many Cats own you
In my response it would be 2.

WE do not have cats, they have us. It's their world and we're allowed in it because we possess the one thing they do not own - opposable thumbs

15. Of course, that is so true
Some days I am merely the staff for my three cats. On other days I'm Mom.

And we know how all kids think of their Moms. Mom's exist for the sole purpose to serving their kids.

So either way, I'm staff.

Outside, at any given time, there are 3-5 that come to eat on my porch. I just can't let them be hungry.

20. We have two: Lulu and Suki.
We recently lost our third, Ruby, at too young of age from an abdominal tumor. Big, fat Mama Lulu rules the house and Suki, my girlfriend, is all over the place. Her mood depends on which room she's in.

The lady who lives next door to us in Brooklyn has somewhere around 23 cats. She rescues them from all over the city. We love her to death, but when the windows are open there's quite a smell coming from her place.

She's more than enough to handle. Plus, she'd rip any other animal to shreds if they were to infringe on her monopoly of human-love.

34. We have 12 cats between our two houses on my land
Some stay in, some stay out, sometimes they all want in. Add three dogs to the equation and the pets outnumber the people 5 to 1 at our two homes.

37. I wish I had paid better attention.
That option stating "I'm not sure. They move around a lot." would have been the better one to pick for me. I have three cats officially, but everywhere I go, cats seem to find me, especially when I have scraps. I don't know how they know. Two or three strays greeted me when I moved here. They had already heard about the sucker for cats that was moving in before I got unpacked. I don't know how they knew. ? They just did.
