Things that piss me off....

Commercials with monkeys in them. I don't like monkeys. They creep me out. Dirty little screeching fuckers. They should not be allowed on tv while my fatass is trying to eat. That's enough to gag a maggot.

New TV shows that recycle the same failed actors over and over and over. In the same cornball fucking role that they tried a few seasons ago for a few weeks. Yeah, Tom "effin" Cavanaugh, I'm talking to you. You can just tell when a show is going to get canceled by the actors who are on it. If they have Tom Cavanaugh, Tim Daly, Rob Lowe (after West Wing) or any former castmember of Seinfeld you know that shitheep is gone in two weeks tops! Tom Cavanaugh... Love Monkey... you just knew that was doomed. And, you know how I feel about monkeys.

Brendan Fraser. There is nothing good about what you do. That's all I have to say. Monkey Bone. You just knew I wasn't going to watch that effing thing.

NASCAR Dads and Soccer moms. You should all be forced to watch Tom Cavanaugh pilots. Each and every fucking one of you. If you call yourself a NASCAR dad or a Soccer mom, then you should be shot just for using those terms. And, that goes for those TV personalities who talk about people using those terms for demographics. There is a special place in hell for those people.

Old white guys who make cultural and societal trends for the rest of the world to rot their brains on. They write the songs, make the commercials and come up with the ideas for all of us to see. You know what's screwed up? Watch a GAP commercial and imagine that a group of overweight overpaid, middle-aged perves came up with that concept. That little girl dancing around in a bikini? That's an old guy's fantasy of what it takes to get people to go buy jeans.

Donny Deutsch. I just don't like that guy's name.

The word "Americana." If you ever use that word without the word "Pax" before it then you should get waterboarded.

All of these people on TV who kiss the troops ass. From sportcasters to politicians to commentators to whomever else. If you want to give it up for the troops then ship out yourself or send your kid's to help the cause. Kissing ass doesn't do much.

Barbed wire tattoes. And, little cute back tattoes. If you have a barbed wire tattoo, you are not cool, you just like to pretend that you could be. Any woman who sleeps with you only does it out of pity, you sad sack sonofabi.... well, you get it. Women, I used to dig the tattoes on the back. The butterflies, the roses, the myriad cute little things you come up with. Those are basically bullseye's for a penis. You might as well stamp "whore" on your forehead. But here's the thing... just wait twenty years whene that little butterfly turns into a big fat stretched out condor. Think about that.

Polticians who act tough. You aren't. Seriously. Give it up. Guys like me, flush the heads of people like you in toilets.

White guys who act like they are gangstas. Read the previous post.

People who have to buy the latest products. Of everything. The newest bullshit shoes. The newest jeans they saw on a commercial. You are sheep. Make up your own mind. You soft, weak, stupid, indoctrined dumbass.

Oh man.... I have more... I am tired.

17. I'm celibate
and I'm obviously screwing around. Heard nearly the same thing on a SNL episode last year and a few movies too. Hell, I make fun of guys even worse. And, monkeys too. Whether or not I have had sex recently isn't even relevent. That's just getting personal, while I make general comments, I never make personal attacks. Don't believe in it. Especially when I'm making general commentaries about general topics. See, I'm a writer, sometimes I write things as a character. Such as in this instance I am writing from a smartass, jerkish pov. Am I really like this? Nope. Nor am I like virtually any of the characters I write about. But, seriously, monkeys do creep me out. Not a big fan.

Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 10:48 AM by Misunderestimator
And your doing that is personally attacking every woman who has a tattoo on their back. Especially offensive in the way you worded it. A target for a PENIS? Bullshit, Bill. That's a personal attack.

19. I am pretty offended...
by the idea that my daughter can be considered a "whore" simply because she has a tattoo.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the word "Americana" either, but I'm pretty neutral on that subject.

32. nothing is wrong with the word
nothing is wrong with your daughter either. I'm just writing stuff from an assholish pov. The way a snarky comedian would, making fun of everybody but nobody at the same time. It's not meant to be taken seriously.

34. Next time you ought to clarify that... most people write as themselves
unless they clarify that they are pretending to be someone else. And even so... it doesn't change how offensive that particular paragraph is. Andrew Dice Clay didn't get a pass for being offensive and bigoted, just because he was playing a part. You don't either.

"Gods and Monsters"? "The Quiet American"? Those were both excellent performances from a good actor. Sure, he's done crap, but who hasn't?

Whatever. To each his own, I guess.

Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 10:48 AM by Wetzelbill
that's part of it. But see, I never get personal. That's part of it. Hell, I really don't even mind Brendan Frasure. That much.

It's best to not get too pissed at my screwball stuff. You don't get my humor. It's not good to fight over stuff like this. Especially when we get along otherwise. We just don't get along over certain things that we don't get each other on. I get seriously offended when I see people refer to Jesus as "Jeebus" which I've seen you do regularly. But I know you're not malicious, so I choose to ignore it and not let it get me mad, because I know we wouldn't see eye to eye on it. Especially since I know that you aren't malicious like that.

that was uncalled for. Especially since I'm not all that fat. :)

Seriously, I'm sorry that I offended you. Not my intention. As I said, I know you have never tried to offend me on purpose either. So, I'm not offended that you made fun of me not getting any. Because getting personal with somebody, that could be misconstrued easily. I don't think anybody is intending to be malicious on purpose or anything.

37. Calling yourself names is not the same as a blanket insult to women.
And I do not believe that you are sorry. Especially since you continue to make misogynistic remarks many MONTHS after being called on them. Over and over and over.

And I don't care one bit if you are offended by my remarks. You should be apologetic, not offended.

My making "fun" of you was because of your incredibly vile remark about a woman's tattoo being a bullseye for a penis. I simply doubt that you've had the occasion to actually use one as a bullseye.

Seriously...did you MISS the whole tattoo flamewar earlier this week? Or are you just trying to start another one?

You wanted to be a politician?????????

Damn - I wanted to take your ridiculous post apart point by point, but it's really not worth it. But wow - you managed to insult a huge percentage of the population, and your facts aren't even right on half of it.

The thing about Carlin? When he's not doing those rants, he's actually funny. Hell - he's even funny during some of those rants. You, my friend, haven't earned the right to be so fucking insulting.

no I don't live my life on DU so I didn't see the flamewar.

Didn't want to be a politician. I wanted to help people.

Yeah, it is ridiculous. It's supposed to be.

You know, I have had two books out. They teach my essays at PHD seminars. I have a loyal readership that thinks I'm pretty funny. See, when I was doing interviews for my book a few years ago, I guess my stories in it could be considered pretty insulting as I cussed a lot and so on, but since I donated all proceeds to charity, specifically cancer research, I guess I earned the right to write however I wanted. But you know, you must be right I guess. I'm pretty despicable I know.

23. Zee little chimpanzeeminkee?

Seems to be rather monkey based just like the soup in the cafeteria...oh well never mind about that

I would agree. The first time I saw the barbedwire tatoos was on guys in my old Army unit who had served on "the border" (Europe). I never got one because I never did border duty and don't have tattoos and don't want one.

The thing I hate are people in front of me in line. Pretty much for any reason that they are in front of me whether it is paying for a water/coffee with a debit card or throwing their money away on lottery tickets (GAWD I hate that one).

31. Well, I got a tattoo on my lower back 20 years ago.
It was not trendy at that time. But I'll tell you. I got it in part as a very conscious celebration for my love of anal sex.

Anyway, it still looks hot, my husband loves it, and there is a difference between loving sex and being a whore.

Still, it does bother me when I see them on other women. It was fairly unique 20 years ago.

But I wasn't really offended by what you said. Just wanted to add my opinion.

wasn't necessarily talking about you. I was just writing inane things that a person shouldn't take serious. Just being a snarky jerk, which was my intention. But yes, glad you offered your opinion and I'm glad you didn't take it that way.

I do have a question... why does it bother you to see them on other women? It actually doesn't bother me at all. I have nothing against them. I don't think anything bad about women that do. I was just satirizing two different things that I heard from a movie and from an SNL skit. Do you just think they are ubiquitous now or what? :)
