3. February 18, 2006. Shelby & Tom. Our plane landed 3 hours before the
wedding. But we made it! Lovely brief wedding, sans preaching or mass, and the reception was a fantastic party.

I went to my cousins reception 3 years ago. She got married in Hawaii, and we couldn't attend the actual ceremony.

12. About three years ago. A colleague/friend of my husband's got married.
I have missed a couple of family weddings (cousins) because we live far from home. I have another cousin getting married next month, and I'll have to miss that one too.

21. Maybe two years ago.
A very good friend got married to a great guy up on Bainbridge Island. It was a beautiful day and a nice party. The woman who cuts my hair and who did the bride's hair got remarkably shitfaced and was very amusing all the way back to our hotel. Near the hotel was a restaurant called "Island Grill." My haircut lady and I sang a duet of Elton John's "Island Grill," much to the dismay of the driver of the car and our fellow passenger.

Going up north for another wedding this coming August, I think.
