I just wanted to thank all of you guys who congratulated me to my b-day. I am sorry I couldn't answer to all. Just didn't had the time since my mom was coming and I had to get my apt to look like it was clean :)

Yes, I had a wonderful b-day and weekend. Friday evening we went out for dinner to a Persian restaurant. Very yummy I tell ya. And the service was excellent.
Saturday we went shopping (my mom more than I did) and then went to a tropical butterfly show at a garden. Those "beasts" were beautiful. I took pictures. Gonna take them to get developed today.

And yesterday we slept in, had a nice breakfast and then decided to move furniture in my bedroom. It looks bigger now.

There were beautiful blue butterflies but they were so fast I had no chance whatsoever to take a pic of them. And the moment they sat down they closed their wings and you couldn't see their really nice blue anymore :cry:

A girl called me, but it was only about getting together to study tomorrow night. That was the most social my weekend got.

11. From now until the end of March that question is somewhat

superfluous ;)

We painted the bedroom in the old apartment and started on scraping away the carpet-glue... I've been counting my bones and tendons etc. for some hours now and I'm still not convinced they are all there.

Also I've just been told that I cannot paint the kitchen in the new house with easy modern paint (because of mould and the like); no, I have to use old-fashioned "Kasein"-paint there, too; which means ALL OF THE OLD OIL PAINT must totally come off which means another day or two or three of sanding... *heaves sob*

21. Yes she was ok with the cleanliness of my apt

but on Sunday she decided to really clean my kitchen :) Not that I mind.

Visit went really good alltogether. We had a wonderful weekend. Persian food is yummy.

...yes indeed! We have a Persian restaurant close to us, and each plate is enough for 2 or 3 people. They pile it on. As a vegetarian, I love going there because they always have dishes I can eat...:9

Oh, and that was good of you to "let" you Mom clean your kitchen....:rofl:

25. I didn't ask her to do it

she started after washing the dishes and cleaning the counter and then suddenly got into full drive :rofl:

They had so many different entries all vegetarian. We got a big platter for 2 and ate all three of it :9
As main dish I had lamp chops. So soft and tasty. They had the nice lamb taste but not as strong as lamb sometimes taste. Sorry to talk about meat when you are a vegetarian. Before they brought us the entries they gave us fresh herbs with pita. And you put together the parsley and the mint. Normally I don't like mint but together with the parsley ... :wow:
