5. My hometown debates such weighty issues.
:eyes:

There are plenty of casual places with sidewalk dining and people ALWAYS bring their dogs. Why do we need an ordinance to allow this? :wtf:

7. My hometown is currently fighting over a proposed dog park
because dogs are not allowed in the parks we have. We have to love the time our councilmembers spend on these "issues". :hi:

11. Oh, now dog-friendly parks we have!
There's even a section of a couple of parks that allow dogs to run off-leash. Whenever I get down in the dumps, I go there and watch the dogs play. That always picks me up. :hi:

with the Prescription Diet food that we have to have her on which is breaking the bank. ;)

and I'm really not that keen on kids. Most often, however, they can still be taught proper public behavior. For Mr. or Ms. "Gonna talk on my cell-phone so loud they can hear it in the next county," there is no such hope. And, I'd rather hear a crying child than a really bad ringtone of "Disco Inferno" any day!

15. One time they tried to drop a meal off at my house...they had the
right number, wrong street. It smelled delicious, and I was tempted...but the thought of somebody starving was just a little too much for me. :hi:

8. NO! I think all well-behaved kids should be punished because others
cannot control their kids in a public place. If one kid is bad - THEY ALL ARE BAD! FEED 'EM TO THE SHARKS!

The only people that should be alllowed to eat in restaurants are people who cannot talk or cannot hear.

 Not the people who cannot hear, because they would talk loudly, causing the non speaking people great anguish. ;)

18. Another yes vote here!!!
The 5-year-old triplets are extremely well-behaved in restaurants. Why? Because we have taken them to restaurants -- nice ones -- since they were tiny. As a result, they know how to behave.

19. This is the trick. My parent's used to call me "mama marsupial" because
the kids went everywhere with me...and as they got older, knew how to behave. :hi:

20. It helps, too, that their father is a chef....
As a result, restaurants are really fun for them. One of the boys wants to be a chef like his daddy. All three like to play at cooking.

Be nice. Ask him to walk. Be nice. If he won't walk, walk him. But be nice. If you can't walk him, one of the others will help you, and you'll both be nice. I want you to remember that it's a job. It's nothing personal.
