is better than store bought, but somehow the home-made cards have a way of disappearing behind other cards, more orthodox card when they are put on the mantle for display.

18. The people who do "hide" homemade cards

are the very people for whom I wouldn't waste my time making a homemade card. For example, I wouldn't send _my_ mother a homemade card because, as wonderful as she is, she probably wouldn't "get" it, ya know ? There _are_ a three DUers who have "homemade" cards from me. I think Peggy posted a photo of the one I sent her. :shrug:
