What am I going to drink? Perhaps I will pack my cheek with a wad of ground coffee, a'la snuff. x(

4. No, I threw them out when we got a perma-filter.
I can't go buy any either, because I've got a sick kid home from school, so we're all stuck here.

2. Throw some coffee into a pot with water, boil it and then
pour through a strainer. I've done it before in a pinch.

9. Boil it and then sift it into the cup, but for Heaven't sake, don't
do without your morning coffee. It can cause a bad bad headache if you do. I tried to do without my morning Dr Pepper once. I was sorry later.

10. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH
That really is a crisis. I'd take the ultimate step and just use coffee in the bottom of the mug, give it time to settle and drink slowly to stop yourself getting a mouthful of coffee-grinds.
