"What's Up Doc" with Barbara Streisand has just came on AMC....
...I have to say, in my adolescence, Barbara Streisand shaped many of my childhood fantasies, due to that movie. Thanks Barb!...:hi:

1. That's the third-funniest movie in history
For years, some friends and I used buzzwords from it.

"I am not repeating myself! I am not repeating myself! Oh, god, I'm repeating myself."

"There's nothing to see really. We're inside a Chinese dragon."

"We can make it!"
"No..."
"We can make it!"
"No..."
"I don't think we can make it."

3. I've seen it maybe 10 times
Amazingly, it's not in my DVD collection. I need to rectify that.

One thing about it that really impresses me is how Bogdanovich went so seamlessly from rather dark films to slapstick. The guy's a freakin' genius.

4. What makes a good movie great, is when you can watch it for...
...the 10 millionth time, and still pick up on something everytime you watch it. Watching it now, I'm still picking up on some nuances here and there...

5. Yeah, and with Bogdanovich
you want to watch, because he's so visual. I could watch "Last Picture Show" 20 times and probably still see something new.

Kinda rough on DVD remote batteries, hitting "pause" and "back" all the time. :7
