Good Wednesday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Welcome to another "Hump Day" edition of the Early Morning Crew! :bounce: How are you today? I, myself, am doing great! I am off this weekend, so today is truly a hump day for me too...a rarity for us retail managers. I understand that our District Manager made a visit yesterday (I think she looks at the schedule to see when I'm off and makes that day the day she comes to my store), so I'm curious how it went. I'll find out when I get there this morning.

Are you ready for the day? I hope so...because here we go! :bounce::bounce:

1. Good morning Clintmax
:hi:

My day started off quite good. Finally got around to apply for a new ID. The old one is out of date since half a year

Talked to my date from Sunday yesterday. I called his cell and he answered with "Hi sweetie"

I am thinking about asking him what he does this weekend. And spend it with him (if he is free) instead of going to my mom

16. I'm not familiar with the Tallahassee area, but there are tons down
...through I-75. Also, a little closer to you, is highway 19 which goes through various towns. Don't know if you have the time, but you could make a weekend trip going down 19, and hit various towns. Cedar Key has some, as does Crystal River, and of course, Tarpon Springs has a whole antique district. And of course, there are many antique spots on the highway, between those destinations. Don't know if you have that much time this weekend, but if you ever get the chance, the highway 19 extended weekend trip is a lot of fun!!!

9. Good morning Clint.
:hi:

This morning was supposed to be calm and gentle, but things suddenly exploded so the office has been totally manic (though not in too bad a manner).

Obviously the manager knows how wonderful you are, and so wants to see how folk cope in your absence.

15. We're due to pay folk's expenses today
Which is a payment of about £30,000, obviously this needs to be signed off by senior management - normally this isn't a problem as there are folk all over the place, but this week they're all in a big pow-wow in Brussels. It was suggested that we delay payment for a week, but understandably and rightly when the M.D. heard this he hit the roof.....so now we have to get everything ready, e-mail the details to the meeting in Belgium, get a signed copy e-mailed back................

She must have horrifically bad taste if she doesn't like you, that's all I can say on the matter.

25. Not their salaries - that goes automatically.
This is their expenses (such as if they have to stay in an hotel on company business), so they can be reclaiming over £1,000 just for one person. If credit card bills are due to be paid....then it does become pretty important.

Things have calmed down, either I go with something renaissance (i.e., pre 1600) which would be calming and soothing, or something 20th century and pretty manic.

He was (to my mind) the greatest composer of the 20th century, by a long way.

It's a set of organ meditations on the Holy Eucharist.

I think that I'll pass on il Divo.

12. Good morning Clint!
How am I doing? Eh. Coming down with a cold, we're in the middle of a frigid snap here (I had to pull out the winter jammies and an extra blanket yesterday), and Aunt Flo is due any time now. Therefore for the next week I'm going to be chilled and stuffy, with cramps, sore throat, runny nose and coughing/sneezing. I'd love to be able to just hibernate at home but of course I have to work, work, work. (and work is where I got this from)

"What's Forever For". What a sad little song:cry:--I used to love that when I was younger.

for the day is one i do not recognize. the title is familiar but I can't place the song.

I am listening to "How soon is now?" Morrissey.

"I am human and i need to be loved..." nice sentiment to begin the day with.

59. I'm sure you'd know the song if you heard it.
Here's some of the lyrics:

I've been looking at people
And how they change with the times
And lately all I've been seeing are people
Throwing love away and losing their minds

Or maybe it's me that's gone crazy
'Cause I can't understand why
All these people keep hurting each other
When good love is so hard to come by

So what's the glory in living
Doesn't anybody ever stay together anymore
And if love never lasts forever
Tell me what's forever for...

65. Well, folks...I hate to have to leave so early...
But I need to go walk the dog, have breakfast and get ready for work. I have to be there in an hour. Same time, same place tomorrow? I hope you have a GREAT day today! Talk to you tomorrow!

Captain Clintmax, signing off...

68. Hey Clint!
Did you ever think that maybe your DM comes to visit when you're not there because they need the extra help! Maybe things done run quite so smoothly when you're gone! Just a thought . . .
I've got some creative things I'm working on so I didn't get much sleep last night. My poor little brain just kept on working. So needless to say, I'm looking forward to getting into work and putting some of my nightly ideas to use!

71. Hey Clintmax!
I'm off this weekend as well. I just actually just got off a long eight-hour shift, so it's nice to be home.

Hope you have a good one!

:hi:
