5. You mean like when we ruled Europe and Asia Minor?
Granted, it was more than a few centuries ago, but face it, that was enough for an eternity.

8. Hey, insult my heritage ,
expect to get something back. All I said was that we have had plenty of military victories; enough to last an eternity. Now we do other things better: cars, food, style, fashion.

16. I'm sorry I started it with the lame navy joke
told to me by one of my best friends, a hardcore Italian

I really love Italian neighborhoods where they exist. Wher I live, in Denver, there is a formerly major Italian part of town, but it is really no longer ITalian. Still a bunch of good restaurants, but it is partly Hispanic, partly artsy, partly yuppified now. We still have a big Italian festival in the summer that is way cool.

I must have been in an Italian mood. I made some killer pasta with pancetta and homemade red sauce for dinner!

What part of the country do you live in?

6. I'm a fine German (mostly)
Grampa had a mixed marriage, she was a Swede. Another Grandparent was half German and half Irish (descended from a Priest who ran off with a laundry girl)

20. Translation Here:
Qui sono!! (Here I am!!)

Uno degli Italiani che più fini conosciate... (One of the finest Italians you'll know...)

Così, la mia domanda è, dove sono tutte le donne Italiane piacevoli??

(Therefore, my question is, where are all the Italian nice women?)

15. Whats a "German?"
It's all screwed up here in Maine. What used to be a "Hoagie" in NJ is an "Italian" up here- Cold sandwich with just ham and cheese but hoagie fixings like vegies and oil.

A "Hoagie" in Maine is a toasted ham and cheese usually w/bacon and whatever else you want on it.

I know nothing about a "German" but I bet it involves sauerkraut.
