I had to work all day for f-ing free!

Yesterday, I spent 9 hours on a case review. My computer froze halfway thorugh the spell check of the 34 pages of notes I had typed. I finally managed to get back to the Latitude page to save the document so I could reboot the computer. When I pulled the document back up, 22 of the 34 pages of work were GONE!!! :grr: :grr:

Because the notes were for a worker's comp case that will likely head to the pension desk for review, these notes are vital. And, since I work by billable hour, and since we cannot double bill, I am out a whole day's billing because I had to re-review everything I had lost. :grr: :grr:

And yes, I did save the document periodically throughout the day, so WHY I lost my work, I have no idea.

This has happened to me on rare occasion, but I've never lost more than an hour of work. I can't imagine losing 6 hours :o of work. You have my deepest sympathies!
