Former Attorney General of U.S. He was quoted at the hearings the Dems held on the illegal wiretaps...was Atty General appointed by Jimmy Carter, although a registered Republican. He was AG when the laws concerning all this stuff was passed, and he basically, way back then said that even the POTUS has to get warrants.

He was at a meeting that I attended at a major university here in the South, ate lunch in the same room, got to meet him in the parking lot leaving...he parked right in front of me.

What a thrill.
