Actually, I like to think of myself as someone who tries to "walk the practical path with mystical feet." Does that make sense? :shrug: Easier said, than done, though, sometimes....heheh.

In answer to your question, I am a f/t mother of two school age children (ages 9 & 12) and a p/t community volunteer. I am a regular volunteer visitor with Hospice. I sit with people who are close to the edge of life and help to provide practical support to the families. It is a profound blessing for me to be of service in this way. :loveya:

I don't get paid in money for the work I do, but I am "paid", nonetheless, by Love....

actually, I would suggest giving them space to go through whatever their process is. They're water signs and very deep, by nature. Personally speaking, I have learned with my two Scorpio kids to back off and not get too upset by whatever their emotional reactions are to things. Sometimes I get frustrated by how overly sensitive mine can be, but then I just give 'em space and everything cools off, eventually.

17. BIcycle!! I have roadie Cannondale...the type with the skinny tires.

I had a cycling accident last Aug, unfortunately, and haven't ridden since. Fell and hit my head turning a corner. Hit my right temple against the curb, coming back from a solo 25 mi ride. Cracked my helmet. It saved my life, literally. Got a concussion, had to get a CT scan, Xray, etc...luckily, all is well. Also had to stay off my bike for 2 mos, which for me, was a lot.

Hope to get back on again sometime soon in the spring!

I do not even own a helmet, but my Trek is a hybrid - road/mountain bike 7100. All my rides are practical now - to the store, to work, etc.

I NEVER imagined I would end up meeting my man, get married and raise my kids here. Funny how it all works out....hard to believe it's been almost 24 yrs....whew!
