Did anyone else get a defective Harry Potter book?
There I am, sitting on Pacific Beach, listening to the waves and the wind, happily reading through HPV, and suddenly----BLANK PAGES!!

I bought it through Borders.com, so I'm taking it to a local Borders to exchange it tonight, which they better or I'll be MAD!!!

Did anyone else have this problem?

1. No!
I would be outraged! That's annoyingly horrible! They'd better exchange it!

3. I heard about that
some books have like 40 pages or so missing!

the store should take the book back

I know that Barnes and Noble has an exchange policy where you can take a book that you ordered on-line and return it to a store

5. Mine was fine
Finished reading it Saturday. So far, I think it is my favorite.

Now I start "Living History".

6. I read of interesting defects where, from p 850, it went backwards
Kind of like the vote counting for Gore in Florida....

8. Save the book
It might increase in value because of the defect. See if you can find out the number of defects and in what editions.
