I missed the first two episodes of this half of the season - how did Adama become an Admiral? And what happened to the Ro Laren admiral bitch?

Both happened last episode. Rosalynn made adama admiral because he has two ships command. Admiral cain was shot by number six.

4. And just to be clear

it was the number six that was being tortured on Cain's ship. She wanted Baltar to kill her, but he handed her the gun and told her to get her revenge.

I hated Ro Laren, and I hated that admiral bitch.

Nice to know she not only got her comeuppance, but that she got it done by someone who deserved the honor of the kill.

3. Here's what happened

In the last episode, they had a mission where they attacked a Cylon force which was carrying a resurrection ship. The Admiral of the Pegasus, Ro Laren, ended up getting killed by an escaped Cylon that they were keeping as a prisoner. Adama became an Admiral b/c the mission was so successful and in recognition of his service, basically. You really need to catch the first two episodes b/c they rocked!
