WTF was that column they kept bangin' on when they were dancing at the disco?

I was about 12 when that show was on, and it looked bloody imbecilic to me even then.

EDIT: Whoops...Sorry, that was Buck Rogers, another show capitalizing on Star Wars' success :blush:

12. The original? Or Battlestar Remakectica, the cutout character version?
Not keen on either, though the original at least had proper characters and was a "spiritual precursor" regarding the uberdrama used in Star Trek TNG.

13. The original BSG had all the quality of your average high school play
Sorry, but it's true. Even if any of those actors had the ability to act their way out of a nutsack, the material they were given was tripe written by a fourth grader. An entire ship of sleepwalking doofuses was chased by John Colicos with a flashlight under his chin (aided by a robotic Dr. Smith), while the same Cylon raider was blown up about a dozen times per episode. Wow.
