The 3.5 oz Hershey Milk Chocolate Bar
is an arms reach away unopened. It has been there calling out to me for three days; "Eat me eat me.".

How long can I hold out?

3. People think I am nuts...
You can take your "3 Musketeers", you can take your "Oh Henry"'s, your "Caramello"'s, your "Snickers", and everything else, and throw them out as far as I'm concerned. To me, NOTHING is as good as a plain old regular Hershey's bar. Anyone else agree with me?

the foil/paper, the chocolate taste alot waxier. It has caused me to move to the assorted mini- hershey bars that come in the bag --- krackel, goodbar, semi sweet and trad. chocolate. Opinions anyone?

14. I agree that the regular Hershey's are much waxier...
in the "sealed" wrapper. And is it just me, or does it seem a whole lot smaller than it used to be too.

I also agree that the little bars are much, much better.

Everytime we get a bag in my house I eat all of the Mr. Goodbar bars (this is the best kind of candy ever, in my humble opinion)!!!

16. I am a goodbar fan too. bigtime. Fullsized goodbar seems to hold
Edited on Fri Jan-20-06 11:24 PM by henslee
up pretty good too. Hershey's dark minis are super too. While we are getting all foodie....I had a nestle crunch bar for first time in a long time.... thumbs up. Cadbury fruit and nut sometimes hits the spot but it seems to get sort of stuck in my throat and makes me a bit sick if i eat too much.
I was into the dark milkyways for a while but it was just a fad.

Moving on to mints.... though i hate licorice --- licorice altoids are awesome as are classic altoids. Tic tacs -- I can take or leave.

I got next to a pack of chuckles the other day --- wow, talk about a blast from the past.

18. Yuck! Fruit & Nut....
that's not for me! I can take or leave dark minis...my sister loves those so when we're together I eat the goodbars and she eats the darks. And, coincidentially, I had the same experience with a nestle crunch over Christmas. It was so good. You know what else is good after a long time of not having it...Kit Kats. I had one of those for the first time in a few years and it was so good...so I got them out of the vending machine a couple times in a row and that was enough.

I like Cadbury cream eggs but the fruit and nut isn't near my favorite.

I also hate licorice but I also hate altoids...they were all the rage when I was in high school so I dutifully followed the trends and ate them while wondering why people liked them. I've liked tic tacs less every time I've had them.

My other favorite would have to be Tootsie Pops and anything made by Reese's!

I've never heard of Chuckles...what are they?

21. Chuckles are chewy oversized square gum drops that come like
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 07:08 PM by henslee
5 to a pack --- its got lots of sugar specks in it so though it is gummy it has a bit of grit. Not particularly fantastic, just a childhood fave. I overdosed on kit kats one haloween when no trick or treaters showed up and have lost my love for them.

Have no idea what cadubry cream eggs are. Must try them. And if i cold re edit my post, i would do a reversal on the fruit and nut -- not really my fave.

Sounds like you and your sister have a good thing going on... who ends up getting the krackles? Hee hee.

And yes TOOTSIE POPS FUCKING RULE. especially choclate and grape. Sorry for foul language. Just got excited. I can talk about candy all day!

23. Who can't talk about candy all day!!!???
Cadbury cream eggs are the big Easter season seller for Cadbury...chocolate shell with the cream center that is kind of like chocolate covered cherry centers but only white with a yellow "yolk" too. Here were I live (NW Pennsylvania)...they are ALL over during the Easter season along with Peeps, of course. So, on about 2/15...the day after Valentine's candy goes on sale...they should be coming out! LOL!

They also now make caramel cream eggs and chocolate cream eggs by Cadbury if the cream isn't your thing.

Right now, I am eating part of an oversized Hershey Symphony milk chocolate bar with almonds and toffee chips...YUMMY!!!

The krackles are usually eaten after goodbars, dark, and milk...in that order.

Hmmmm....chocolate and grape Tootsie Pops are my least favorite, I prefer cherry & raspberry. I can take or leave orange. Have you gotten any of the new flavors they seem to be trying out? Strawberry, blue raspberry, and that type. They're alright, IMHO, but I'll take the old favorites any day.

And don't worry about the foul language! This conversation had me salivating over the candy at the grocery story today!!! I only got some Nestle Crunch.

very often proves to have bad endings.

"The Wake of the Red Witch" A whaling story from my childhood. Seems it was a good book.

26. It's not worth it.
I have nothing against eating chocolate. It's just that Hersheys does NOTHING for me.

That's not chocolate. It just doesn't taste right.

Try some Dan's Chocolates. Or some Bissinger's Chocolates. Or even some See's Chocolates.

27. I'm a Fan of Dove Dark Chocolate myself.
We keep a bowl of the Dove minis in the teachers' lounge at the the school where I work. Having them nearby makes it difficult for me to diet!

But they are sooo good!

I haven't had a Hershey's bar in a long time.
