Do you wear a "scent"?
I often wear this if I'm going out:

It's been my favorite for about five years. I used to wear some of the scented oils from the Body Shop. I'm not a real fan of floral scents. I love faint cologne on men; my husband wears some nice ones.

1. I don't wear perfume
But I use the Pear Glace lotion from Victoria's Secret which has a nice, light, fresh scent to it. I really like it.

6. People who wear scents are the worst possible kind of people
Not really, not if they were only a very small and sensible amount.

It's the one who wear enough that it can be smelled more than 2 cm from the person's body who are the worst form of human scum imaginable.

11. There's a guy where I work, not my immediate boss, who wears
so much cologne that the action of him opening the door lets you know who it is before he even steps through, because that wind activity is enough to push the scent around the office.

It's foookin crazy.

12. My MIL wears Red Door ALL the time, and as a result, can't smell the
atrocious amount she has on, anymore. My husband said that in elementary school, she would pack his lunch and his sandwiches always tasted like Red Door. Needless to say, he hates that particular perfume, with a passion.

10. Sometimes someone will walk past and smell so nice that I wish I knew
what they were wearing! I don't wear perfume all the time, or if I know people will have to sit in close quarters with me, as i'm afraid I'll irritate someone with allergies.

14. Ask them. Most people are flattered that you like what they like.
But also be aware that all scents don't smell the same on all people.
My mom used to like a perfume that a friend wore but when she tried it
she didn't like the way it smelled on her.

39. Me, too. I love perfume.
But I have to relegate it to occasional uses because my husband can't stand any cologne.

Once for Christmas, his 'gift' to me was a scent he thought he could bear. It was thoughtful because he knows how much I love cologne, but the scent he picked was a um, little out there.

15. Hey! I got the gift box of that for christmas. You want it?
I told my family once--like 5 years ago--that I thought it was ok so now they give it to me at christmas when they can't think of anything to give me. I'm really not that big of a fan of it though and I'm looking to give it away to a good home. So if you want my unopened gift box, pm me.

to tell 'em how to wear cologne.

My ex's older son used to come out of the bathroom every morning smelling like he'd bathed in Hai Karate. :puke:

I suppose I did the same at that age — except I did it with Jovan.

36. Pink Pepper perfume oil from the Body Shop...
...or sometimes the Tea Rose, but usually florals aren't my favorites either. I used to mix a rosewood/vetiver essential oil blend that I really liked as well.

I don't care for heavily-scented men. Just a little light fragrance preferably...

my favourites used to be Shalimar and First. Then I developed horrible chemical sensitivities, and couldn't be around any fragrance (or synthetic chemical smells) of any kind.

I can use these now, which I get from my health food store:

India is my favourite scent.

44. Good God, no!
If women want to wear perfume, that's fine (as long as they don't drench themselves in it), but I'm not about to.

Besides which, men should be barred by law from using perfume, because EVERY guy I've ever encountered who did so, used WAY too much.

Call me an old fart if you wish, but I don't think much of guys who use perfume or get their hair permed. Just a bit too much vanity.

Just my opinion.
