Let's review the supposedly bipartisan corruption in Washington.
Q: Number of Democrats who received money from Jack Abramoff?
A: Let's see, if we include Harry Reid and Pat Kennedy, the answer is zero, zilch, none, nada, not a goddamn one. Abramoff was in the business of brokering influence for the Rs only. No D took anything because no D was offered anything. Some of Abramoff's "clients" independently gave money to Ds, but there is nothing unlawful about that. Our whole system is nothing more than legalized bribery, so to do something that is actually unlawful means one has to be really, really corrupt.

Q: Politicians facing criminal liability:
A:
Abramoff- guilty of corruption charges, will turn state's evidence.
Fmr. House Maj. Leader Delay- indicted on money laudering under TX election laws
Senate Maj. Leader Frisk- investigation for insider trading continues
V.P. chief of staff Libby- indicted for obstruction of justice regarding a national security matter
Dep. chief of staff Rove- will likely be indicted concerning violation of nat. security.
G.W. Bush- Admitted to impeachable offense in domestic spying case. Lied to nation, Congress to start unnecessary war.
Duke Cunningham- guilty of corruption
WH procurement officer (name?)- arrested on corruption charges.
Bob Ney- under investigation for corruption

Q: party break-down of aforementioned.
A: all are Republicans.

Locally in Ohio, Gov. Taft (R) plead guilty to misd. corruption charges. Bush fundraiser Tom Noe is under investigation for screwing up the state workers' comp fund and for corruption.
