Tell me about her.

How did she get to that place in her life? Was looking that way a goal she's been working toward since she was a little girl? Or perhaps the result of a medical condition?

I'll bet she's not very happy about the way she looks. In fact I'll bet people have made fun of her and made her feel ashamed her entire life. People can be very cruel.

I wonder what the sources of joy are in her life. I wonder if she will ever know what it feels like to be "in" love, and to be fully accepted for who she is, and appreciated for what she has to offer. What a shame, if she'll have to live her entire lifetime without ever once knowing the feeling of being held in a lover's arms. Can you imagine a lifetime like that?

I would expect that she faces a great many physical challenges throughout the day as well, and has even more to look forward to as she ages. Little things that most of us take for granted are probably much more difficult for her. Getting around, finding places to sit comfortably, finding clothes to fit... I should think that would make one's daily routine terribly frustrating.


Wow, living a life fraught with physical challenges and held up as a object of ridicule must not be very fun. Not very fun at all.

I actually admire her for going out in public, pretty well knowing that no matter where she goes, people are going to point at her and stare at her and whisper and giggle and make rude, ignorant comments loud enough for her to hear and even take photographs, to use to laugh at her later. I don't think that I would have the courage that she does in a situation like that.
