Let's hear about your first kiss!
At this point, anything that distracts me from the omnipresent rain is a good thing, and MiniManda's thread really made me smile.

My first kiss? I was 14. His name was David, he was in several of my classes. It was sweet and wonderful, and it's a good memory.

How about you?
Julie

3. Ooh, that was a long time ago, but I remember
Her name was Cheryl, and if memory serves, I was 15 and she was 14, and she had HUGE TRACTS OF LAND, if you know what I mean.

We used to ride our bicycles to the local pool in Niles, IL and swim during the summer. She wore a Bikini when all the other girls wore one-pieces. She was totally cute, long dark brown hair, and great eyes. One day after swimming, we were on our bikes next to each other talking and she leaned over and kissed me. Holy shit, I thought, you can do that with your tongue? I was hooked on kissing from then out!

Turned out she was a little, well, unbalanced, from a totally fucked up home life, a mom with a long list of revolving boyfriends who lived there, drugs, booze, a dad missing, brother who liked to burn things down, etc. At her house one day she propositioned me to do way more than kiss, saying she had been doing "it" since she was 12, and instead I just left. Seemed too unbalanced for anything like that, and besides, I was saving myself for (multiple) marriages

He was 14. My mom used to drop me off at the skating rink on Saturday nights. His name was Craig and I knew him slightly through school. We couple skated a few times that night. Then while out front waiting for my mom to pick me up, it just happened. Fireworks!! Very sweet though. That was it for us though.

Dated trumpet players, married a drummer, now am having impure thoughts about a rock guitarist friend.

I need to meet a different group of men.

Between her burying her head in my shoulder at the scary parts, and holding my hand affectionately, we managed a sweet, off-center kiss. My first. I was thrilled.

12. Eighth grade school chemistry lab, in Pass Christian, MS
Becky. School had just let out for Christmas break. She was the aggressor. The whole school was in on it, and had been talking about it all day, trying to get us alone. Finally, after everyone had left, I followed her into the Chemistry lab where we sat on a counter in the dark and talked. Finally, she got up the courage first, kissed me, and ran from the room.

I just saw her again after 20 years. She still lives in Pass Christian. No romance, but we were great friends for a long time after that, so it was great.

It was at the Ponchatrain Beach Amusement Park in New Orleans. We were riding on the sky-ride, a tram that rode high over the entire park and gave you a long view of Lake Ponchatrain. You could hear music playing - it was "Band of Gold." She asked me if I wanted to kiss, I said yes, and she showed me how to french kiss right off the bat. The best memory is of the exquisite nausea that accompanied sexual awakening...

Thanks Debbie......

23. I don't have one, but I had my first DREAM about one last night...
Edited on Sat Jan-14-06 01:47 PM by WritingIsMyReligion
It was weird. I was with this guy I know from school--he's a fairly good friend of mine, very funny, kind; yes, a musician, a trumpeter, even :P--and he was at my house. Then he was in my bedroom (um, okay, then ), and he just kind of lay down on my bed, exhausted, you know, and I lay down next to him.

Then the next thing I knew my fingers were intertwined with his, real friendly-like, you know, and we talked. Then we were quiet for a bit, and I thought, Well, fuck, I'll kiss him,, or some totally spontaneous dream-thought like that, and I leaned over and kissed him on the lips.

I remember that in the dream there wasn't really passion, but I was strangely content, and well, it tasted sweet. I think he had been falling asleep, or something like that, because his eyes were closed when I did it, and he opened them to gawk at me. Then I said something along the lines of, "Well, we've just been talking, and holding hands; what did you expect me to do?" (Typical blunt me... :D :D) He opened his mouth to respond, and my alarm went off, so I woke up feeling like I had been clouted in the stomach.

It was just weird, but oddly symbolic. I've been wondering for a while now whether I like him or no, and he is very kind to me, but in real life he's kind to everyone, so that doesn't mean anything. I think the symbolism was in that I kissed him, but I never did actually find out how he liked it, so it was like, maybe I do love him, and I'm not sure if he loves me, and all that is coming out in this dream.

Okay, enough philosophizing. :D

24. I was in Pasadena for a week one summer, visiting my grandmother.
A gf of mine had given me the name and phone number of her boyfriend...

So I called him. And we arranged that he would take me to the beach. I was all of 18 years old.....

I felt all excited, and was bouncy and silly like a much younger teen...

We drove out to the SoCal beaches. It was a hot, sunny day, with a bright blue sky and lovely waves.....

I was lying down on our beach blanket and he was sitting next to me.

Next thing I know, he leaned down over me and kissed me. I HATED it!

He was waaay too close, and it was just too intimate! But I could NOT get away, since I was lying down.....

The second kiss came shortly after.....and then the third......

Suddenly, I decided I liked them after all.....

"Mmmm. That's three..." I murmured......"You're keeping track?" He was amused and outraged.....So I got a whole bunch more and since then I have completely lost track of how many kisses there were that day.....

That day, I crossed over from girlhood to womanhood.....I woke up, sexually......He was the first love for me, but by no means the last.....

Thanks, Mike, wherever you are......

me holding my breath waiting for my first kiss.

There was a girl who tried to kiss me once during a hug, but she came in too fast, and by reflex I used the Vulcan death grip. For some reason, I never got another chance. I think it was a pity kiss anyway, although I had just spent $40 on dinner for us (and that was alot of money on my $5.5 hourly wage)

It was sweet and wonderful until he put his hand in my shirt and I suddenly remembered my friends, just a few sleeping bags away (it was a sleepover night, complete with campfire), and figured maybe it wasn't wise to be enjoying myself this much - I was like 11, 12 tops and this was in the 1970s.

The Girl Down the Street. I was 15; she was 12. We were enjoying a little privacy one night in the front seat of my dad's car, parked on the street in front of the house. It must've been winter because there was a tarp over the windshield.

She'd been letting me put my hand in her shirt for awhile, and I guess I felt a bit guilty about taking advantage of her like that. (I didn't learn until much, much later that women actually enjoy guys caressing their breasts.) So I just hauled off and kissed her, partly to let her know that I appreciated her generosity.

Apparently, she'd done it before, because there was no hesitation or awkwardness or anything. It was about as good a first kiss as a guy could hope for.

I kinda wish I knew where she was now. I'd like to thank her for turning me into an osculatory afficionado. :7

It was a family vacation dragging a camper. I had been shy about kissing before that. Don't remember her name and the next day we moved on to another campground. I met a girl at every place we stopped, and kissed some more. Right time and right age for everyone involved, I guess. One of the coolest vacations ever.

pathetically enough, my first AND last kiss was when I was 17 (I'm 20 now). I had been eating chocolate and the guy told me, ever so romantically, after the kiss, "that tasted like shit, but it was worth it". It was way too wet and he ended up telling my friend all about it and I didn't find out until way after.
