Brave Little Toaster is an odd movie. Acid induced?

Toaster, Blankie, Lampy, the Radio, and Kirby go on a journey, seeking The Master, only to find that the world is a big place and the extension cord is too short. Don't forget the mad scientist and the evil new appliances. Complete with songs to learn! Dark and spacy.

When a young boy and his family go on holiday, their household appliances, led by the toaster, think they've been abandoned. They decide, rather than be left alone in the house for who knows how long, to try to find him. So begins a dangerous and amusing venture through the city and countryside.

Summary written by Cynan Rees {cynanrees@hotmail.com}

A group of dated appliances find themselves stranded in a summer home that their family had just sold decide to, a la The Incredible Journey, seek their young 8 year old "master". Children's film which on the surface is a frivolous fantasy, but with a dark subtext of abandonment, obsolescence, and loneliness.
