2. I always thought that looked like fun
But then, I'm nuts, love heights and flying in very small planes.

3. Like this one?
Van's RV-6A. FAA class Experimental, i.e. built from a kit. Wing span 23 feet, length 20 feet, 2 inches.

I went up in one a few years ago. :bounce:

4. Oh, you lucky devil
Yeah, just like that. A neighbor back in Vermont had (probably still has) a small, single engine 2 seater plane of some type (I'm no expert) - we used to hay his field where he kept a strip laid out for a runway. He was always grateful and would give us a ride every once in a while. I loved it - I've always enjoyed flying but in a small plane, you can really FEEL that you're up in the air. Exhilarating!

5. Yeah, you can feel it
You can feel every little rise or drop in altitude. It's not unlike boating.

Dramamine might be indicated.

Still, yeah — you truly feel airborne, and you can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miiiiiles...

(Oh, yeah.)

6. I really am strange
The more bouncing around, the better I like it. It's like a roller coaster - and I LOVE roller coasters...

8. I didn't see whatever it is you're copycatting!
How are you today, my dear Oeditpus Rex?

I would NEVER wing-walk, but I do love love love small airplanes....

One of my boyfriends back in the day had access to one....we used to fly all over....

You really do know you're flying in a small plane!

However, I do NOT like rollercoasters! My inner ear is unhappy .......

:loveya:

9. This'un

Please note that I use the appropriate spaces and hyphens.

Roller coasters rock, but I ain't about goin' upside down or dropping at sheer angles. The photo is of the Giant Dipper at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk — a wooden coaster built in 1928. Tame by modern standards, but I love it. :woohoo:

If you wanna see some really cool wing-walking, rent "The Great Waldo Pepper." It also has a great re-enactment of a WWI air-combat duel. Outstanding photography.

10. I'll bet you didn't know that I did a lot of my growing up in San Jose...
And therefore trips to Santa Cruz were traditional?

Well, I did! And I have ridden on that very roller coaster, to my regret!

As I said, my inner ear does NOT like anything like that!

Your copy-cat is PERFECT!

You have quite a way with words, my dear OE!

I'll check out the movie....I hear it's good!

:loveya:

11. You told me that, but I'd forgotten
Seems to me that after driving down 17, the Giant Dipper might be rather anti-climactic. :7

"Waldo Pepper" might be especially good if you like Robert Redford in his pretty-boy days.

12. I don't remember telling you that! Uh-oh.....early Alzheimer's!
Naah, the 17 was no problem for me......but that rollercoaster was! :scared:

And Robert Redford? Drooooool......OK, MUST see that movie! I have always enjoyed him, and his acting.....

Thanks for telling me he's in it.....

:hi:
