Though disappointment was my initial reaction, it was quickly superceded by confoundment at what I believe is the malevolent spirit of Britney Spears, whose unmitigated gall at even attempting to cover this classic is surpassed only by her undulating belly and accordian-like thigh movements.

To listen to Ms. Spears' cover of "Satisfaction" front-to-back is-- and it's pointless to exaggerate here-- to watch a loved one be physically dismembered.

Poverty of language prevents me from fully recounting these horrors in my chosen medium, but they say a picture is worth 1,000 of something-or-other, so to this end, I've called on the doodling acumen of late German Expressionist Norwegian painter, Edvard Munch, in the hopes that his stanchion skill might better illustrate my reaction to Ms. Spears evisceration of the Rolling Stones classic "Satisfaction." With his help, I'll compare this treasured etude of The Rolling Stones with its merciless maiming at the hands of Britney Spears.
