Official Washington Redskins Victory Thread!
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing on Iraq. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!" His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands. Finally, President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

1. Ugly game, I'm glad for the 'Skins but their lack offensive punch doesn't
bode well for moving much further...

I hope they can get their O back into form for the next game.

4. What a letdown after the admittedly flawed, but sublime UT/USC game...
I'm TiVoing that game on ESPN Classic right now, and getting ready to delete the Skins/Tampa game, LOL.

6. brunell is in a major funk
and it didn't help that the running game wasn't effective either. good thing they have an outstanding defense.

8. Time for Ramsey?
Edited on Sat Jan-07-06 08:16 PM by kingofalldems
Brunell has been going downhill lately. He was awful today, witness the pass he threw that hit the turf about 15 yds from the receiver. I would consider Ramsey, but Gibbs does not seem to like him.

10. Yah kind of looked like last season, and that's why so many of us decided
he was finished, a QB with no arm... I hope he isn't suddenly making that assessment true!

12. Go Skins!
Edited on Sat Jan-07-06 10:00 PM by mvd
The Tampa Bay receiver should have caught that pass to tie the game, and the quarterback showed his inexperience twice: once on a bad throw to an open receiver after the drop, and on the interception in the final drive. But the Skins have Gibbs, who is a big game coach - and the defense is doing very well. The Skins should need more offense to beat Seattle, but the offense hasn't shown a pattern of struggling, so maybe they'll do better next week.
