4. Sure. It's still cheaper than Fedex, UPS or a courier....
Or hand delivering whatever it is.

I like letters, and lots of people seem to like getting them.

7. Consider the alternative...
If the far right gets its way, the Postal Service will become a private entity, and could charge as much as package delivery services like FedEx and UPS do to mail a letter. I'll take a 2-cent hike over that any day.

8. I very seldom send snail mail.
I pay all my bills online, so I save a shitload on postage because I have a lot of bills.
