Who wants to take the "Vacation from Medication" plunge with me?
That would be one week of no medication of any kind.

That means no nicotine, no caffeine, no THC, no alchohol no perscription drugs, no non-perscription drugs...

For one week.

The goal: Complete 100% Clarity.

5. No prescriptions?
I'd be dead after a week without my drugs!

I'll pass, thanks.....and good luck to you.......

There are many reasons why I take my drugs......all have to do with my living!

Better living through chemistry: This is my motto.....

6. Lol, some of us do that every day.
Except for the very occasional cup of green tea (as in maybe one cup a week), you pretty much described my daily existence. I don't smoke herb or tobacco, I don't drink, I don't take any drugs of any type (prescription or non, legal or non), and I don't drink coffee ever. Why muddy the mind?

FWIW, it will probably take longer than a week to clear those things from your system. Prolonged caffeine use, for example, can eventually cause your body to permanently adjust its basal neurotransmitter production levels. Without caffeine, the permanently heigthened levels will cause you to be far more tired than a normal person would be. Correcting that imbalance can take weeks if you've been a regular coffee drinker for years.

7. Sorry, but if I gave up nicotine AND caffeine I'd NEED prescription drugs.

(Preferably Xanax, Klonopin or Valium.) Or else THC. Because I'd most likely kill someone otherwise.

12. what about vitamins??
I'm intrigued, but a bit daunted with the thought of caffeine withdrawals.....definitely NOT pretty.

I'd get the raging headaches by 2pm w/out my daily coffee dose. Ugh.

13. Sorry, Not Feeling Suicidal This Week
Meds aren't "optional" to everyone ... such as diabetics and those with kidney disease, to name just two ...
