Poll question: Supposed to be freezing rain this evening... should I go?
It's 30 miles away, this monthly therapy group. The first visit was semi-useful but seemed more like a pointless show'n'tell class than how to cope with social issues... but it was sufficiently valid for me to return.

But 30 miles away and in freezing rain. That's risky and I'm not good in those conditions.

The meeting is from 7 to 9PM. The nasty weather is to start "this evening", starting with freezing rain, then a mix, then turning to all snow by night. A chance of freezing rain exists after midnight, but by then I've no need to care. :)

Between 8AM and now, the chance variable had risen from 60% to 70%.

1. If it is really freezing rain and the roads are cold enough
that is so much worse than snow.

What do they think the roads will be like?

2. I know there are winter weather advisories...
But none yet for that area of St Paul.

I won't know for sure until ~6PM. If it looks good, I might go and leave early.

3. I would wait to decide until it comes time to leave
if it is starting to rain, I would not go this time. It is not worth risking your life.

4. Ironic.
I think of death daily (physiological breakdown, not because of a mental disorder) and now I'm too scared to risk my life.
