6. I want to go to New Zealand.
The first time I ever heard of New Zealand was when a first-grade classmate moved there. As a class, we looked at pictures of New Zealand and found New Zealand on othe map, so we would know where our classmate was going.

I've always thought it looked like an extraordinarily beautiful place.

8. It looks amazingly beautiful
Pardon my geek moment here, but in the Lord of the Rings movies, there are PLENTY of extensive exterior shots of the New Zealand landscape, and it boosted tourism there for a reason. STUNNING! :-)

It is certainly on our must-visit list, not just for the beauty, but for its political friendliness. If Jeb or Condi take over in 2008, we may move there yet. A DUer named CiCi the Psychobunny is from there, and she would be happy to provide us with relocation info. :D

10. I don't think it's very easy unfortunately.
A bunch of friends on one of the Neil Finn message boards I'm on looked into relocating to NZ after the 2004 selection and it's very difficult. There are a lot of requirements. I don't blame them, it's a beautiful place and they want to keep it that way.

12. Does that mean that Kiwis
had January 2 and 3 off because January 1 fell on a Sunday?
Either way, those folks now how to live. Good way to stretch out the summer holiday.
