Day #2 of NO SMOKING! Ask me Fucking anything!
Yesterday wasn't too bad but today has been rough. I've been craving but with the aid of Halls mentholyptus lozenges and plastic coffee stirrers (for chewing), I haven't lit up yet.

I did:
Clean my kitchen.
Clean my bedroom.
Clean out a closet that hadn't been cleaned in 7 years.
Dusted my stereo/video equipment.
Organized my music files on my PC.
Edited hundreds of photos in "Photo Shop".
Did laundry.
Went grocery shopping.
.....
Got to keep busy because I REALLY WANT ONE RIGHT NOW!

2. Have you thought about chewing gum?

My dad kicked a 30+ year habit by substituting chewing gum for the smokes. He chewed like a maniac for days, but it helped him and freshened his breath. ;)

5. I have a broken tooth that makes gum chewing painful.
I have been doing deep-breathing exercises. Tomorrow I hit the gym.

6. You did it the right way...
You chose a day and quit. You'll be so glad you did in a few weeks when you start feeling better and breathing better. My uncle did that about 10 years ago, and hasn't picked a cig up since. Good luck!

9. I quit last year on New Years. It lasted till March 29.
Thats when I found out that my Ma died. I had to scramble to get a flight back east. That and the funeral arrangements along with asshole relatives, tipped me back over.

8. I know it's hard to quit......I've heard that it's second only to heroin..
But keep at it! Your entire body will thank you, and so will your wallet!

And health insurance is easier to get when you're a non-smoker!

I'm pulling for you!

12. Try the patch.
Also Wellbutrin helps.

Don't give up. It gets better.

Think about the extra years you will have, the pain you will avoid, the weakness.

You won't regret it. GOOOOOOOOOD LUCK MAN.
