When you see your ex at the bar, here's what to do:
Nothing. Act as if he doesn't exist. No eye contact. Nothing. HE will do all the work because, ironically, he's got more issues than you do. (I saw him; I recalled how he treated me in the final weeks before he broke things off; I took the hint and reacted accordingly. But I digress.)

For he will follow you to your area and take a quick peek to verify it's you and then scamper off to his new fling (and probably whine and complain too, what with him bein' a "good christian" and all. )

Of course, being human, it was impossible to get more than the usual "it's not you, it's me" bullshit for him to say WHY he felt so dissatisfied with the relationship. Sheesh. It's the same with people in general, they just can't be opened to say how people can improve themselves. Even on a recent rant I made on DU, it was obvious that everybody was skirting around what's wrong with ME. (I betcha it all boils down to Asperger's anyway...)

Humans. Lovely species... It all gives piquancy to the otherwise unpalatable idea that we'll all be nuked like popcorn in a rather nasty war some several months down the road... at least I won't have to bother about trying to improve myself or even trying to get a date.
