Big Ten meltdown!!!

Anyone else getting frustrated by the big ten's poor bowl performance so far? I have a hard time arguing for the conference's strength when they can't beat Nebraska and Virginia in close games. Minnesota I can understand losing a close one since they cannot play a lick of defense. Michigan losing to big red is inexcusable. They have to finish that game!!!

1. They're playing bowl games already?

Christ. It gets earlier every year, it seems. Didn't they used to wait until Dec. 31 or Jan. 1?

Not that I'd really know, since I never watched them except the occasional Rose Bowl when God's team (Badgers) was playing.

2. They play the minor bowl games after Christmas

The important ones, i.e. the ones that people watch even if their team isn't involved, are the ones that traditionally happen Dec 31st through Jan 4th or so.

Northwestern in process of struggling against UCLA. Looking forward to the Wisconsin game if I can still stand after the Iowa game. GO HAWKS!!!
