How do you sell cemetery plots?
My parents bought two plots in the 1950s and they went on to divorce and be buried with their second spouses so my brother and I want to get rid of these plots. How do you do that? Advertise in the paper? Any other ways?

1. I would ask the cemetery owner
If it's a church, they have Trustees that keep up with the cemeteries.

If it's a public cemetery, I don't know.

2. ebay? pennysaver? classifieds?
or contact local funeral homes. Lots of people die without owning plots. Maybe the funeral homes could find you a buyer.

3. Ask at city hall if it's a public cemetery
My parents bought extra plots in case any of us kids ever wanted to be buried beside them. One sister, who died while a teen, is buried there. The rest of us married & moved out of the area. We sold the remaining plots back to the city at the current selling price.
