How many here feel they are falling apart physically?
I tell ya sometimes i wonder if my body is going to just fly apart like some cartoon robot.

I cant pick up my coffee in my left hand as it is too sore due to injury. I can't raise my right arm much higher than chest height due to bad rotator cuff. I can no longer bend at the waist because of spinal injuries, and subsequent surgeries. I can't bend at the knees from damage(i don't even have a knee cap on the left side).

Most times i feel okay and can do pretty much what i have to in a day. Days like today though, when they all bother me at once i feel almost helpless.

I reckon i'll just laugh it off and double my medicinal herb intake for the day and relax. :smoke:

Any others out there?

2. Yeah it can change quick.
Spinal injuries can really do it to you. No need to feel sorry for me though(though i do appreciate it) .Pain is normal for me. Nowa days it lets me know i am still alive lol! It's not the pain as much as the lack of mobility that bothers me.

Hope yer back feels better.

3. It's a part of growing older. The more aches and pains the longer the life
I could give a long list of my own aches and pains. Nearly always they get better after a time to be replaced by other aches and pains of course.

Do you exercise any? Some yoga type exercises are especially good for the lower spine, the one called the "locust" was particularly good for me and I do it every day. It strengthens the lower back, which nearly always weakens as we get older due to our sedentary habits (computer use).

Like your solution of medicinal herb intake. At least the herbal meds don't have such a terrible bite when they have side effects. The body is its own best doctor usually, it's just that as you grow older it takes longer for the body to repair itself and get over soreness or bruises or strains of various kinds.

Good luck, my friend.
