6. Welll.....Saturday ngiht will be....Saturday night.
It just so happens that, coincidentally, it will be the very same evening as New Years Eve. :-)

Going out with my former roommate for drinks at the gay watering hole down the street.

I'm doing ok, tigereye. How about you? :-)

:hi:

2. Well, seeing as my mother is "not celebrating Christmas" anymore,
we will be "not celebrating Christmas" with presents and everything on New Year's Day...but don't mistake it for "celebrating Christmas" because she's not doing that anymore. :hi:

5. I can't get enough of the holidays.
Sue me.

I love the music. I love the frenzy. I love the food. I love the atmosphere. I don't ignore the commercialism but I also don't allow it to consume me. I have some fun. I see some friends and family. It's a good time.

7. Not me...
I just got finished decorating the top of my file cabinet today. I've been either too sick or too busy to do that kind of thing til now.

It seems like this virus has finally turned itself into an ordinary rotten, stinkin' cold. Time for some fun! :D

I am avoiding the scale at this point. Also I always have more beer, wine, ale, etc. than usual this time of year.

12. I have to be honest
This was one of the most relaxed holidays I have had in a while. Things went smooth so far.
The only bad part is that I can't get off my lazy ass to clean the house. I am having my annual New Year's Eve johnnie bash and I haven't done too much. At least I took off tomorrow.

I hope yours are all going well tigereye. Happy New Year to you and yours! :hi:

Oh, and yeah... I have kept a pretty steady holiday buzz goin'. :)

18. hey Johnnie!
glad to hear you are having a good one. We don't work a lot around here the last 2 weeks with the kid off from school, so we are on a weird and fun holiday schedule. If I bake any more, the house will burst at the seams!

hope you have a great party and New Year! :hi:

13. No, I will be having a holiday gathering this weekend for my friends who
had to work last week. Tree, food, gift giving, yule log, this will be my third time.

Some of my friends have already arrived at this little farm I am taking care of, the rest will be here by noon tomorrow. I am looking forward to this nice long holiday weekend.

I hope everyone will have a nice weekend.

we have several Christmas gatherings, too. Or so it seems. I have some actual holly this year, and holly and ivy on the front door.

What happens then? Is it like a Gwar concert? ;)

Hope you and Mrs. Beast had, and are having, a nice holiday! I can't stop making nut bread, cinnamon bread, gingerbread, myself. I actually had a Smithwick's ale at lunchtime when the husband, kid and I went to a nice pub for lunch on the Southside today.

22. We were in the Burgh last weekend.
We didn't have time to make all the rounds, though. I say there should be a Pgh. meetup sometime soon.

let me know next time you guys are here, and I'll try to round up some folks to hoist a few at my favorite funky beer place.

26. I quit drinking, so I'm no fun.
Hubby gets his and stays home once it gets dark, if NYE falls on a weekend. Too dangerous out there.
