I painted my house pink

Our town tried to pass a resolution enforcing that all homes visible from the road would be pastel or matching the surrounding land.

I voted with a paint brush.

Too bad, When I am The Maximum Leader no homes will be pastel, period, and the owners of pink ones will suffer a terrible fate. Repaint now to spare yourself.
Otherwise my rule will be quite fair and balanced. All will enjoy the dozens of mandatory no work holidays I will institute. Well, golfers may not like it. I will outlaw golf, an obviously evil game spawned by the devil and all courses will be turned into parks and farms.
